Dr. Benjamin Clinton is the founder of Beacon Administrative Consulting and a seasoned leader in Texas public education. With a doctorate in education, a degree in economics from Rice University, and over 15 years of experience spanning campus, district, and consulting roles, Dr. Clinton brings deep expertise in school improvement, finance, leadership development, and public sector solutions.
As a deputy superintendent, Dr. Clinton led dramatic campus turnarounds, assisting chronically underperforming schools in achieving A-ratings. He played a crucial role in creating one of the first district health plans that provided free healthcare for all employees without increasing district contributions. His leadership also contributed to the passage of SB 1414, which granted Texas school districts more flexibility to opt out of TRS ActiveCare and design custom employee benefits.
Dr. Clinton has secured over $30 million in grant funding, helped districts across the state align resources with instructional priorities through strategic planning, and presented at statewide conferences on innovative administrative practices. Through Beacon, he continues to coach, train, and support education and public sector leaders who are ready to think differently and act boldly.
