Toastmasters International Area G-35 recently held its International Speech Contest in McAllen. Area G includes clubs spanning from Laredo to Brownsville.
I won first place with my speech, “We Need to Talk,” and advanced to the Division Contest on April 11 at the Pharr Memorial Library. The division contest brings together area winners from San Antonio south through the Rio Grande Valley.
