The Raymondville Chronicle published a staff report on my new book, Teaching What Every Employer Wants. The article focuses on a gap employers keep naming: students often have credentials and technical ability, but reliability and workplace habits still determine who gets hired, who gets kept, and who gets promoted.
This book is built for real classrooms, especially CTE settings. It treats employability skills as teachable, observable behaviors and gives teachers practical tools to coach habits like communication, professionalism, initiative, teamwork, and accountability.

From the article
“The issue is rarely whether someone can do the work, it’s whether they can be trusted to show up for the work.”
