Dr. Benjamin Clinton, Founder of Beacon Administrative Consulting, is excited to announce that the firm has partnered with the UTRGV School of Business and RGV LEAD to launch the region’s new Innovation Hub.
The Innovation Hub is a pioneering initiative aimed at connecting higher education, students, and local businesses through a Student-Led Agency model. Marketing students from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley collaborate directly with businesses to research markets, devise growth strategies, and provide actionable solutions.
This semester, 140 students are working alongside 38 businesses throughout the Rio Grande Valley—including Beacon Administrative Consulting.
“I’m thrilled to be part of this initiative because it enhances both education and business simultaneously,” said Dr. Benjamin Clinton. “Students acquire real-world experience in leadership, marketing, and strategy, while businesses like Beacon gain innovative ideas and fresh solutions.”
As part of the program, Beacon’s student team will concentrate on:
- Increasing brand awareness and visibility for Beacon Administrative Consulting.
- Expanding digital content and search presence to showcase the firm’s expertise and elevate positive thought leadership in search results.
- Conducting a market study to uncover opportunities for speaking engagements, training sessions, and community outreach.
- Supporting outreach to small businesses through chambers of commerce and professional organizations.
This collaboration exemplifies Dr. Benjamin Clinton’s enduring commitment to bridging the gap between education and industry. Through his leadership roles in public education and his consulting work at Beacon Administrative Consulting, Dr. Clinton has consistently advocated for initiatives that prepare students for the workforce while assisting organizations in operating more strategically.
The Innovation Hub is valued at over $7,000 per participating business but is available for only $500, thanks to support from RGV LEAD and UTRGV. It serves as a model for how education and industry can work together to build capacity, enhance the workforce, and drive regional growth.
